Indian Hills Truck Brokers Inc.

Freight brokerage services

Six ways we move freight for shippers — plus the carrier network that makes them work.

01 · Full truckload

Dry van, reefer, flatbed and step-deck

The backbone of what we do. We price the lane, find the equipment, and tender it to a carrier who runs that lane well.

  • Dry van, reefer, flatbed and step-deck availability
  • Appointment, dock and delivery-window scheduling
  • Drop-and-hook, tarped and team-driver capacity
  • Detours, reweighs and relay handling
02 · LTL & consolidated

When a full truck is not the answer

We arrange palletized, parcel and consolidated moves through partner LTL providers, so you are not forced into a full truckload rate for a part load.

  • Palletized, skid and parcel freight
  • Class-based and weight-based pricing review
  • Consolidation and cross-dock coordination
  • LTL paperwork and accessorial management
03 · Expedited

Freight that cannot wait

When a line is down or a customer is waiting, speed costs more. We price that honestly and get the truck moving the same day.

  • Same-day and next-day moves
  • Two-driver teams on long hauls
  • Continuous status updates until delivery
  • Direct escalation by email, no ticket queue
04 · Drayage

Container moves and port work

Short-haul drayage between the ports, rail ramps, depots and your dock across Central Florida and the Gulf Coast.

  • Port of Tampa and Port Canaveral coverage
  • Container, chassis and trike moves
  • Appointment-driven terminal scheduling
  • Notice of arrival and demurrage avoidance
05 · Contract & dedicated

Your lane, your carrier, every week

Recurring volume deserves consistency. We build lane programs around a consistent carrier and schedule so the freight keeps moving without a scramble.

  • Scheduled weekly or daily tenders
  • Consistent drivers and equipment when possible
  • Rate agreements with fuel index terms
  • Backup capacity for peak weeks
06 · Spot & one-off

Capacity when everything else is booked

Overflow, a cancelled booking, a customer with tomorrow's deadline. Send it and we will tell you quickly whether it can move.

  • Quick-turn quotes, often within the hour
  • Nationwide carrier coverage
  • Last-minute schedule changes handled
  • One broker, from first email to final POD

Included with every load

The services that are not optional

Whether it is one pallet or forty pallets, these are part of the job on every shipment we broker.

  • Carrier vetting — active authority and current insurance checked before tender
  • Equipment matching — the right trailer type, and the right one for the freight
  • Written rate confirmation — line haul, fuel and accessorials itemized
  • Dispatch and in-transit updates — to you, not just to the driver
  • Proof of delivery collection — POD and BOL handling
  • Invoicing and carrier payment — on the terms you set
  • Claims support — a point of contact if something goes wrong on the lane

Cargo we handle

General freight — property, not household goods

Our federal operating authority is Broker of Property (except household goods), which covers the freight commercial shippers move by truck every day.

Palletized goods Retail & distribution Food & beverage (non-refrigerated handling by reefer carrier) Building materials Machinery & oversized freight Dry goods Paper & packaging Agricultural freight

Not household goods. We do not broker household-goods moves (moving companies). If your freight needs a household-goods carrier, we will point you in the right direction rather than take the load and hand it off.

Not a carrier. We operate no power units and employ no drivers. Every truck you see on your freight belongs to an insured, vetted motor carrier we select for that specific load.
